韩国首尔，2026年8月28日——SK海力士（简称‘公司’，https://www.skhynix.com）宣布，于当地时间27日在美国印第安纳州西拉斐特（West Lafayette）的普渡大学霍洛威体育馆（Holloway Gymnasium）举行了面向AI的存储器先进封装*生产基地奠基仪式。
* 先进封装（Advanced Packaging）：为克服缩小芯片尺寸的微细工艺极限，将多个芯片捆绑或垂直堆叠以提升性能的尖端半导体后端工艺技术。
当天的奠基仪式，印第安纳州州长迈克·布劳恩（Mike Braun）、美国参议员托德·扬（Todd Young），以及普渡大学校长米奇·丹尼尔斯（Mitch Daniels）均出席。SK集团方面，美洲主管副会长俞柾准、副会长李亨熙、SK海力士CEO郭鲁正等高管也一同参加。
美国首个HBM生产基地，投资超40亿美元
总投资额将超过40亿美元的印第安纳晶圆厂，预计于2028年10月完成无尘室 (Cleanroom)建设，并于2029年下半年启动新一代HBM量产。未来随着生产全面步入正轨，该基地有望发展成为拥有1000余名员工的美国核心HBM生产基地。
特别是印第安纳晶圆厂作为SK海力士在美国设立的首个HBM生产据点，其特点在于基于韩国与美国生产体系的紧密连接进行运营。在韩国生产的先进晶圆将运至印第安纳，经过先进封装和测试后，“美国制造”HBM产品将直接供应给美国客户。
此外，公司还将与生产线同步构建“先进封装研发测试床 (Testbed)”，以便与客户、大学及商业合作伙伴共同开发下一代封装技术，并能够快速推进原型试制与性能验证。
携手当地合作伙伴，强化生态系统合作
目前，超过100家涵盖材料、零部件及设备等领域的合作伙伴正就进驻西拉斐特事宜进行洽谈，此举不仅将为印第安纳晶圆厂的稳定运营提供有力支撑，预计还将进一步夯实当地AI生态系统。SK海力士计划通过晶圆厂的建设与运营，与美国本土企业共同创造约7000个直接及间接就业岗位。
与普渡大学签署研发合作MOU（谅解备忘录）
SK海力士在奠基仪式上与普渡大学签署了先进封装领域研发合作的谅解备忘录。
双方将基于MOU加强研发合作，共同研究包括HBM在内的下一代系统集成及先进封装技术。此外，SK海力士计划扩大与美国中西部地区主要高校及研究机构的合作，致力于培养和引进全球顶尖人才。
