Seoul, February 24, 2022<\/p>\n

SK hynix (or \u201cthe Company\u201d, www.skhynix.com<\/a>) today nominated Noh-Jung Kwak, President and Chief Safety, Product & Production Officer, and Kevin (Jongwon) Noh, President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as candidates for inside directors of the board. During the board meeting on 23rd February, KST, the Company confirmed its agenda for the upcoming general shareholders meeting, including the appointment of new inside board directors, which will be held on 30th March, KST.<\/p>\n

SK hynix promoted Kwak and Noh as Presidents in last December during its management appointment. Kwak oversees integrated management of development and production, and manages safety and health affairs. Noh analyzes markets and customers trends to react strategically amid volatile business condition, and further discover new growth momentum for the future.<\/p>\n

SK hynix nominated Kwak and Noh as new inside directors candidates to assign them a new role that suits their responsibility. Through this appointment, Kwak will take charge of safety affairs that have recently grown in importance, and Noh will contribute to enhancing corporate value by fulfilling SK hynix\u2019s Financial Story proactively.<\/p>\n

With expiration of Vice President Jonghoon Oh\u2019s term as inside director, there will be four inside directors at SK hynix after the upcoming general shareholders meeting. This includes Vice Chairman Park Jung-ho, President Lee Seok-Hee, President Kwak, and President Noh.<\/p>\n

The independent board directors will remain same. The six independent directors include Ha Yung-ku, former chairman of Korea Federation of Banks (KFB), and Song Ho-keun, chair professor at POSTECH. As director Ha\u2019s three-year term will end soon, the reelection of Ha as SK hynix independent director will be proposed during the upcoming general shareholders meeting.<\/p>\n
