(\u2018hynix\u2019 \u2018the Company\u2019, <a class=\"-as-ga\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hynix.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-ga-category=\"sk-hynix-newsroom\" data-ga-action=\"click\" data-ga-label=\"goto_http:\/\/www.hynix.com\">www.hynix.com<\/a>) announced that it is planning to offer a size of KRW 500bn unsecured fixed rate domestic convertible notes due 2013, on August 20th.<\/p>\n<p>hynix will use the proceeds from the offering to repay the CBs issued in 2006, which may be redeemed on September 29th, 2008 at the option of the noteholders.<\/p>\n<p>The notes will be issued at a 5 year maturity, with conversion premium of 30%, YTM of 5.8%, coupon yield of 3.0% and conversion period starting from one month later after closing, with an investor\u2019s put option at the 3rd anniversary. In spite of unfavorable market views toward the semiconductor industry, the Company expects that the improved investors\u2019 confidence on the company\u2019s technology leadership in the semiconductor industry and future growth potentials will be successfully reflected on the offering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About hynix Semiconductor Inc.<\/strong><br \/>\nhynix Semiconductor Inc.
